Alix Williams
Chief Operating Officer
Alix’s professional experience comes from the Calgary Winter Club, where she was most recently the Director of Strategy and Experience. Her portfolio included corporate governance, capital investment, and strategic enhancements to member experience. Prior to that, Alix was a marketing and strategy consultant, working with groups across North America, including many start ups.
Alix holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Haskayne School of Business (University of Calgary). Together with her husband and three young children, the Williams family are Active Members at the Calgary Winter Club, Bearspaw Golf Club and now, the Eau Claire Athletic Club. Recreationally, Alix is a passionate squash player and enjoys golfing with her husband Lowell.
Joshua Staav
Membership & Marketing Manager
Josh joins the Eau Claire Athletic Club after five seasons as the General Manager of the Calgary Tennis Club. While there, Josh accrued and worked with an active membership base while pursuing both his passion for sports and community. Prior to this, Josh acted as the Manager of Venue and Sports Partnerships at the University of British Columbia. He has also worked as the Marketing and Events Manager at the Calgary Jewish Community Centre and interned at Hockey Canada.
Josh has a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Sport Administration from Ohio University. When not chasing after his two young kids, he maintains an active lifestyle by playing hockey and tennis and getting out to the mountains to hike, ski, and bike. He is thrilled to be part of the team at the ECAC.
Robert Jewell
Food & Beverage Manager
Robert Jewell is a chef, restaurateur, and hospitality leader from Calgary, Alberta, with an impressive career spanning high-end restaurants, television and entrepreneurship. Known for his innovative approach to cuisine, Robert has earned numerous accolades, including Best Restaurant, Best Pizza, and the prestigious Pig and Pinot Award.
A familiar face in the culinary media landscape, Robert showcased his creativity as host of Gusto TV’s A is for Apple, where he crafted inventive, ingredient-focused dishes that captivated viewers.
In addition to his television success, Robert has thrived in leadership roles within the restaurant industry. His experience encompasses both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, and he is passionate about building strong teams and fostering positive workplace cultures. As the Food & Beverage Manager at Eau Claire Athletic Club, Robert is focused on curating vibrant dining experiences that cater to the Club’s diverse membership.

Jessie is a competitive show jumper with a distinguished career, achieving top finishes at national and international levels. With over a decade of experience, Jessie has earned a reputation for excellence, precision, and dedication.
Currently serving as the Operations and Administration Coordinator at the Eau Claire Athletic Club, Jessie leverages her high-performance sports background to enhance the Club’s operations. Her passion for fitness and wellness, combined with her equestrian expertise, ensures a dynamic and welcoming environment for all Club members.
Randy Bozek
Corporate Sales
Randy holds a Bachelor of Design and began his career in advertising sales, where his approachable demeanor and commitment to delivering timely, tailored solutions built lasting client relationships. His natural ability to connect and provide value laid the foundation for his continued success in the business world.
A lifelong learner, Randy earned a Professional Purchasing designation, leading to a fulfilling career with an international financial company. He has consistently demonstrated a passion for growth, both professionally and personally.
Randy’s love for health and wellness is evident through his passion for golf and regular participation in squash and volleyball, sports he’s enjoyed since high school, where he was on a Provincial Championship volleyball team. Other personal milestones include winning a local marathon and serving as his class valedictorian, showcasing his drive and dedication.
For over 25 years, Randy has contributed his expertise in a part-time capacity with Telsec Property Corporation, the parent company of Eau Claire Athletic Club. Randy is proud to be a part of this dedicated and dynamic team, further solidifying his commitment to personal and professional excellence.
